Since I was 12 years old, I knew I wanted to be a game designer. While I had enjoyed games before, the demo for Super Mario 64 in July 1996 turned something on in my head, “I want to make video games for a living!” From that moment on I knew this was my life’s purpose and I would continue to strive to make it a reality.While I have designed countless games over the years I have two published games under my belt, I have one self-published title called Blockie Horror that was on the Apple app store till 2016. My first AAA title is Madden 24 and I consider both games huge achievements in my life.As for my additional professional experience, I was a General Manager for Regal Entertainment Group. I cannot understate how many different responsibilities you have under that title, But I can try to summarize it: All back office, HR, hiring/firing, team building/team management, financial/P&L analysis, ordering, payroll constraints, scheduling of staff/films, and lastly technical expertise in the projection systems 35mm, digital, to laser. To say I have time management skills would be an understatement.Now for the rough part, in 2022 I was diagnosed with tongue cancer and had an intense surgery to remove it. I mention it because the change to my voice and my new speech disability are noticeable, and I just like to acknowledge the elephant in the room for everyone.
