I have 30+ years of experience covering a broad range of instrumentation, process control, and computer applications. My career began with two years of design, hands-on fabrication and checkout of custom control panels for various industries. Since then my engineering duties have covered various levels of responsibility in water treatment, food, chemicals, renewable energy, waste to energy, incineration, power generation, pollution control, anaerobic digesters, biogas upgrading, and the pulp and paper industries. My assignments have included field studies, detailed engineering design, DCS/PLC programming, checkout, construction supervision, start-up services, training, and project management. I have coordinated the activities of other process control designers and engineers to ensure the quality of the design package. I have actively managed a DCS/PLC programming, staging, and testing facility and coordinated the team’s efforts to ensure the control systems were programmed correctly and checked out completely per the client’s schedule.
