Frank Ilacqua brings nearly four decades of shipping, logistics, and managerial experience to AirFreight.com. As a top-performing, profit-driven senior manager with expertise in directing national, regional, and local transportation and logistics operations, Frank has helped launch new markets and facilities, aided in the development and implementation of cost-effective business models, and revitalized underachieving facilities in the transportation and logistics field. With a bachelor’s degree from Fairmont State University, Frank served in managerial positions at Buffalo, New York-based Roadway Express from 1988 to 1998. He then moved onto Eagle Global Logistics, where he worked his way up to vice president of operations. In this position, Frank was responsible for a $150 million line-haul operation, safety and compliance measures, third-party carrier development, and more. While at Eagle Global, Frank established a carrier base of more than 550 tractors and 800 owner-operators along with an impressive third-party carrier base of 1,100 providers.In 2008, Frank accepted a position as director of general operators at Panther Expedite, where he managed a $285 million internal and external expedited ground services operation with a carrier base of more than 1,100 owner-operators and a third-party carrier base of approximately 2,500 providers. Most recently, Frank served as vice president of ground expedite at ArcBest Corp., where he worked since 2014. He was responsible for overseeing a $420 million expedited and dedicated ground operation with a carrier base of more than 1,300 owner-operators and a third-party carrier base of 20,000 providers.
