Current duties include directing both the Patient Access and Patient Accounting activities at Doylestown Hospital. This includes managing all Patient Registration functions, time of service payment activites, third party billing, self pay collections as well as payment posting functions. I have an extensive knowledge of third party claim processing requirements as related to both hospital and physician billing issues. This includes a complete understanding of The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Managed Care and Indemnity billing guidelines.Oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle. I am always looking for ways to improve the Health Systems financial performance.I have a comprehensive understanding of all Siemens master files. This includes, the Hospital Profile, the Charge Description Master, Payor Responsibility Master (PRM), the Option Master (OML), the Room and Bed Master as well as Collectors Work Station. This position requires extensive interaction with physicians and staff personnel. The ability to communicate both in writing and verbally is imperative.
