As a Systems and Process Manager - I'm in charge of process management (identification, design, implementation and improvement), change management, systems monitoring (Identify issues), process training, operational process audit (Internal audit) to identify bottlenecks, improve efficiency and productivity, standardization and create value added services for BBOXX customers.

As Retail Operations Manager, I was in charge of monitoring, tracking and reporting on daily activities such as; sales, cash collection and expenditure, system issues, reviewing of operational processes, operational challenges, identifying staff knowledge gaps and plan for training and conducting operational process audits.

As a Compliance Manager; my role was to assess compliance levels for different RRA departments to ensure there's a consistent implementation of the organisation's policies and procudures and demonstration of the core values in the daily activities to deliver quality work and customer service with transparency .Compliance assesments was done for high risk areas (with the team help) through reviewing; a) Sample taxpayer audit reports in comparison to tax audit manual; b) Tax policies and applied accounting procedures; c) HR recruitment process;d) Tender committee reports and;e) Observing Customer service and different processes;f) Conducting field visits to leaarn about the customer experience;g) e.t.c After all this, i had to advise the commissioner general through written reports on what i thought should be improved, maintained and eliminated.

My role was to assess and analyze the implementation of the tax policies and procedures to ensure tax audits and assessments are done as expected and taxpayers understand the different methodologies applied to come with final amount due.

As tax debt recovery officer, i was in charge of ensuring that charges/penalties from concluded taxpayers audit are recovered and in time and if not, was empowered with authority to enforce tax recovery policies, with this i was able to recovey over Rwf70Million for RRA in a period of 1yr.

Tax Officer in charge of taxpayer Recruitment and Registration in RRA with the role of increasing the tax base through sensitizing and mobilizing traders according to the tax policies to register and pay taxes. During the 12months on this role, i was able to register 1920 new taxpayers with an average of 8 registrations per day.
