Responsible for the development and realisation of a new monopile fabric for xxxl monopiles, the foundations for windmills at sea. A multi-disciplinary project of € 328 million to asure Sif’s Position as the Leading Supplier of Foundations for the Energy Transition.

Responsible for the Masterplan development of Feyenoord City and within Feyenoord City the realisation of the new, 63.000 spectators capacity, Feyenoord Stadium at the border of the river Nieuwe Maas.

As a result of OperatieNL’ s recommendation to Feyenoord and the City of Rotterdam for integrating urban and stadium development, Frank was appointed project manager for ‘Feyenoord City’. This project explores the feasibility of a true joint effort to combine the power of Feyenoord with the hidden potential of Rotterdam South.

Rotterdam

As Project Director I was responsible for the development, design, construction and buisiness start up of the new 108 ha container terminal located on the second Maasvlakte in the Port of Rotterdam. For this almost € 700 M project, Financial Close was reached in June 2012, when at the same time construction started. In 2012 the project was awarded as European Ports Deal of the year. The terminal became operational in the summer of 2014.

Amsterdam

I was responsible for all DBFM contracts for Dura Vermeer Infra. Besides my activities for Dura Vermeer I was, from feb. 2006 to jan. 2009,(from the start of the tender procedure up untill start of construction) active as Director of Coentunel Company BV, an SPC for the DBFM contract for the enlargment of the Coentunnel system. The total project was financed by a projectfinance structure of almost € 600 M.

Delft

I was responsible for the programme "project management for infrastructure" under the responsibility of Prof. Dr. Ir. A.A.A. Molenaar. This eight weeks course was lectured as part of the international master programme, civil engineering.

I've worked with Advin over 16 years, I started as a project engineer and ended up in 2005 as deputy director. In my career within the Advin organisation I've changed many times of position, starting as a project engineer, via project manager, head of the department of civil engineering and in 2000 director of Advin C&E responsible for all international projects to end in 2004 in my latest position as deputy director. Advin is an enginering and consultancy firm with over 300 employees (2006).

I've been teaching hydraulics and civil engineering in Niamey (Niger, West Africa) on a technical school for rural development (I.P.D.R.)
