I started in the Automotive Industry in 1965 as an apprentice with Vanden Plas, Kingsbury, London. I served a seven year apprenticeship and gained an HNC in Motor Vehicle Body Engineering.I have worked in the following areas within the Automotive Industry (all managerial positions) :Coach trimmingWoodmill and JoinersFrench PolishersBrass and Smith's ShopI worked in Germany for 9 years, originally, as the Trim Development Manager for Lear Corporation and subsequently - Trim Development Manager at Johnson Controls.
