In the surgery suite I helped wake animals up and monitored temperatures, and helped prep animals for surgery. In the In-Room Tech spot, I helped take history on the pet and medical notes, restrain the animal,and gave subcutaneous shots. In the treatment room I helped give subcutaneous shots, trim nails, express anal glands, stock the treatment room with medical supplies, restrain the animals, and do medical rounds for the in hospital patients. As a kennel assistant, I was responsible for the well-being of any animals in the clinic for treatments, overnight stays, or surgery. Tasks included feeding and watering, taking dogs out to use the bathroom, cleaning cages daily for animals, sanitizing cages after departureof animals, also restocking treatment room and surgery suite with medical supplies tobe ready for the day.

I was responsible for the breeding program and nutrition protocol for all animals. In charge of husbandry for goat kids and lambs like tattooing, and then ear tagging and hoof care on goats, sheep, pigs, cattle,chickens
