Supervise line personnel responsible for the maintenance and restoration of the Electric Distribution system

Provide day to day supervision for on shift System Operators. Develop day ahead operating plans and assist with project management responsibilities associated with System Operations.

Working a rotating 12 hour shift schedule, coordinate and supervise the work of personnel engaged in the operation of both the electric and gas distribution systems. Prepare and notify assosiated personel of Public Service Commission reports when necessary.

Steam Plant Operations – Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the 74th St. steam generating station. Operated 6 package boiler units delivering varying steam loads to NYC as directed by the energy dispatcher. In charge of applying protection to equipment before work commenced to insure worker safety. Completed preventative maintenance on station equipment as scheduled.

Coordinated construction operations as part of the mechanical team working on building an Ultra-Violet Water Treatment facility for New York City water.
