Project: Predicting Wind Power, Solar Radiation, and Temperature and Pressure Using WRF (Weather Research and Forecasting) Simulation• Won the Canada Co-op Japan Employee of the Year Award• Developer of statistical and data analysis scripts for the post-processing of Weather Research & Forecasting (WRF) data• Applied statistical techniques including simple regression, multiple regression, and Kalmen filtering to improve on the weather predictions results for use in wind and solar power generation• Scripts were written in Perl/Python, and designed to be flexible in handling different data fields such as solar radiation, wind speed and temperature
