During my employment with M&S I learnt much while being part of the warehouse team. My daily activities included stock organisation, management and replenishment for the entire store and all sectors - this included refrigerated, frozen and all non-refrigerated items, the procurement and unloading of deliveries, making sure the warehouse is clean and tidy at all times - free of hazards for all staff, shop floor maintenance including stock delivery, fill up and cleanup, trolley organisation and maintenance, and above all the ability to have good customer service skills in order to effectively help any customer in need. During my employment I learnt extensively on how to properly work within with a food orientated company, and the regulations and proper management that comes alongside it. I learnt how to effectively manage my time being part of a large store, and in correspondence with requirements that come with food. I also learnt how to effectively work and communicate as a team in order for all required roles and tasks to be carried out.

I took on a number of duties while working at Asda, the main role being warehouse maintenance and stock management, making sure stock levels are adequate and the inventory is correct. From this part time job I have fortified my customer service and relationship skills and learnt how to work effectively as a department and a team. Through necessity and desire to learn I also took on other roles which included till work, customer service and other various roles such as making sure the store/ my department looked aesthetically pleasing.

I took of various job roles during my employment at dominos, which included till work, phones, customer service, stock inventory, food management and cleaning. I gained a lot of experience while i was there and used it to enhance my skills in customer service and fast food. I got comfortable quickly and near the end of my employment I had progressed up to new roles within the workplace. I felt like my time there was very beneficial as I gained a lot of knowledge about a sector that I had not previously worked in before.
