In Early 2009, we had the unique opportunity to handle PR & strategy between Alabama Giving, the United Way, the IRS, and the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham on the Earned Income Tax Credit Public Awareness Campaign and continued managing it the next two years We managed two transition teams to high profile state and local offices, and co-chaired their Inaugural Committees, and foundations. Recently, we've shifted our primary focus to "issue-based," initiatives that benefit causes we support, and our community as a whole. We've found these campaigns rewarding ; and often times our clients are able to realize immediate results and through these efforts we have saved taxpayers in JeffCo, AL and surrounding municipalities untold sums of money. We're proud of the work we've done to defeat hazardous waste production and how we've been able to stand up to much larger companies, both public and private; and prevent them from further polluting our state, especially neighborhoods that were already deemed by the E.P.A. to be a "Superfund Clean Up Site," in Birmingham, AL.
