I am currently in the position of Service and Tryout Manager at Roll-Kraft. I have been with the company for 18 years and I am well known in the industry having over 28 years experience in tube and pipe and roll forming.Prior to joining Roll-Kraft, I gained a vast background of knowledge in the industry by running mills, doing first time product runs, being a lead setup technician, working in maintenance as a millwright, and working with engineering, both process and mechanical, to solve an infinite array of issues throughout my career.I am currently responsible for the testing of new tooling at Roll-Kraft and at our customer’s facilities, as well as all service provided. I am a part of the engineering team, working together from the beginning design stages of the tooling and seeing it through to the actual product testing and development. I communicate with the customers throughout the process keeping them informed of the progress all the way to sample approval. I also travel to our customer facilities to do training, troubleshoot tooling and mill issues (both of Roll-Kraft tooling and competitors), as well as working with their engineer’s to improve their process.I have completed several college classes, working towards a degree in mechanical design engineering, and I have other certificates of achievement in the tube and pipe and roll forming industries. I also do design work, utilizing the Copra software to develop flowers, and AutoCAD to do roll form tooling design and quoting.
