Frank Lyons MPhil Dip Arch(Dist) RIBAFrank Lyons is Director of Humane Architecture an architectural practice based in the southwest of England handling projects all over the country. He gives direction and leadership to the practice and takes a leading role in project designs.Frank graduated at the Brighton School of Architecture having been awarded the RIBA National Student Design Prize (RIBA President’s Silver Medal) for his final year diploma project. In 1983 Frank formed his first partnership, early in 2001, after winning a RIBA national design competition, the practice reformed as ‘Humane Architecture’. Frank has won a number of awards for his work.Frank has taught extensively, he was formerly Principal Lecturer, Director of Programmes and Graduate Diploma Programme manager at the University of Plymouth’s School of Architecture. He led the Zen Design Studio in the Graduate Diploma Programme and in 1994 created the Post-graduate Diploma course entitled ‘Humane Architecture’.
