Leading member of the hospitality industry with 20 years of experience as a hotelier, businessman and entrepreneur. After studying hospitality management at Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (Switzerland), I have experienced diverse roles in the hospitality industry, ranging from sales and consultancy to marketing and management. I have a strong entrepreneurial experience in mainly hospitality, consumer goods and recruitment. In 2008 I established Le Bourg 7 S.A with my wife Ana, a boutique hotel located in the picturesque village of Lutry (Switzerland). As a response to unsolved issues experienced during the daily operations of their hotel, I designed the first version of Base7booking, a cloud-based property management system. After five years of use and continuous development, I co-founded Base7booking, and since 2012 I worked full time as the Base7Booking CEO. Trivago acquired base7booking in 2017 after which I acted as a board member and consultant for the company. I continue to contribute to the hospitality industry by promoting technological solutions
