Cataract Surgeon at Zomba Central Hospital since 2012. Coordinator for Ophthalmic Outreach for South East Health Zone with catchment population over 3 million. My passion is to see the less priviledged blind people in the village see again after a successful cataract operation.Nothing has ever brought satisfaction to me than seeing those bilaterally blind get back to routine work after regaining sight. Other notable times within my professional career has been in the Trachoma Elimination where I happily took various roles in the Global Trachoma Mapping Project as grader trainer and supervisor thanks to Professor Kalua, Suzzane Lewalen for the trust they had in my capabilities. The Lions Aid Norway and Malawi Relief Fund through Shukran Orphan Care of Zomba and Alfallah Islamic Trust of Zomba for there remarkable efforts in making sure there is consumable as well as logistical support to make fight against blindness a success.The ballte rages on.
