Aramark has been a great job and opportunity for me. It got me back to my roots with providing great customer service on a more personal level seeing the same customers weekly. After being with Aramark for a few months I was promoted to a Route Sales Representative taking on the biggest route based out of Spokane. Working at Best Buy was a great experience for me to really dive into the business of retail. As the Operations Manager, I was in charge of reading and dissecting the P&L for the store and giving recaps to all the upper management and supervisors. It really gave me a chance to review certain metrics of the business and see how you can effect the P&L statement. I was also in charge of scheduling for the bulk of the store including almost 100 employees, hiring, firing and any HR issues that may come up.

I worked my way up from a Part Time sales associate all the way up to the Store manager of the Spokane Valley Mall in October of 2004. I was rookie manager of the year 2005 and than won the Store Manager of the year award based out of Lynnwood WA for 2006. I loved working at Champs and the personal development that I received was great. Training and developing part time associates to assistant managers was something I took pride in and loved to do. It was always a great feeling promoting an employee to run there own stores.
