Polyconomics advised corporations, investment banks and politicians on economic policy. I worked directly for Jude Wanniski, and Alan Reynolds.I started as an intern, and continued work a few months after graduation. I was essentially a reader. In the pre-internet world, I would read between 5 to 10 newspapers a day combing them for articles relevant to Polyconomics “supply-side” theory. After writing a brief synopsis on a 3X5 card, I would deliver the top ten for Mr. Wanniski to read. Of course, I also did basic clerical work like maintaining his client’s mailing and contact information.
