Site Security Coordinator (SSC)/Team Leader (TL): Responsible for supervising, coordinating the Security Staff and construction activities daily. Manage and coordinate security operations ensuring that security procedures are implemented and followed as per the Department of State security requirements. Security Manager/Anti Terrorism Officer, Jan 2003-Dec 2006: Served as the subject-matter expert on Security and Anti-Terrorism (AT) issues and requirements for 3 military installations with over 5000 civilian and military occupants. Ensure units have a functional and exercised AT plan and that all unit personnel with AT responsibilities are trained. Provide technical and tactical advice and assistance to unit planners in conducting comprehensive reviews of AT program annually or when the terrorist threat level changes. Coordinate unit AT plans, orders, and other implementing guidance with 5 subordinate units, the community AT Officer and Provost Marshal Offices. Managed local Threat Working Groups (TWG) or comparable meetings with local security managers, Military Intelligence Detachments (MID) personnel, and military police authorities to obtain accurate and current intelligence on the activities, intentions, and capabilities of hostile groups. Coordinate and assist in the development of construction projects to the local Directorate of Public Works (DPW) for cost estimates and re-design i.e. Access Control Points (ACP)/Access Control Facilities (ACF).Responsible for conducting site reviews, writing audit/review reports, reviewing findings, and making recommendations; for planning, developing and implementing security plans, security programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security, Information Protection, Incident Management; to perform vulnerability and risk analysis for the military community, particularly with respect to level of crime, terrorism, workplace violence, threats from natural and man-made disasters. Managed and supervised local (host nation) and military guard forces in access of 100 personnel and the installations overall security plan to include financial management, management of budgets and expenditure of funds in accordance with established guidelines.
