Francis X. Mohan III is an attorney licensed to practice in California who has earned certification as a Tax Specialist by the Board of Legal Specialization, State Bar of California. He is formerly a Revenue Agent with the Internal Revenue Service and a Tax Supervisor with an international accounting firm. He is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of California, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Court of International Trade, the United States District Court for both the Eastern and Northern District of California as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is an Adjunct Professor at Humphreys College of Law. Mr. Mohan’s practice is focused on tax litigation, administrative practice and procedure, including audits, civil and criminal investigations and trials, estate planning and probate, refund and collection disputes, and all other tax related matters with the Internal Revenue Service and the State of California. In addition, he represents individuals and businesses in all types of tax planning, including income tax, estate tax, gift tax, employment tax, sales tax and property tax, on both a federal and state basis.
