I am excited to announce that I have re-joined ICF on a full-time basis leading C&I Market Development. Over the past 18 months I have been supporting ICF as a consultant, focusing on energy savings and decarbonization opportunities in controlled environment agriculture (CEA) markets. As a member of the ICF National Team I will continue to lead the design and development of innovative CEA initiatives that work in concert with ICF’s traditional agriculture programs. Year-round food production in CEA facilities has the potential to become an even more important part of how both urban and rural markets address access to fresh food, create local jobs and reduce transportation costs and supply chain vulnerabilities. CEA facilities also bring together electric, gas and water savings opportunities through developments in new technologies and growing practices. I look forward to expanding my role in working alongside ICF’s regional and local teams to help utilities better understand and engage with this rapidly developing market. I'll also continue to work closely with ICF's national Agriculture Offering Owner, Cody Allen, to support agriculture initiatives that help utilities achieve their energy and decarbonization goals.

Primary focus was on developing a practice area for electric vehicles and residential battery storage. Also worked as part of a cross functional team to support the ongoing development of residential demand response programs.

CLEAResult acquired APT in July 2014 - Prior job responsibilities as Director of Business Development at APT were transitioned to CLEAResult. Additional responsibilities included; working as part of the Consumer Product Services Senior Management Team to facilitate the integration of APT into CLEAResult, overseeing the implementation of existing retail products programs and leading strategy and innovation for Consumer Product Services (mobile retail solutions, C&I midstream programs, customer satisfaction and inclusion of emerging technologies including Heat Pump Water Heaters, Advanced Thermostats and connected appliances). Also worked as part of an internal team that engaged with external stakeholders to address the changing dynamics of the residential lighting market as it shifted from CFL to LED technology.

Responsibilities included leading the business development efforts at APT which included; meeting with prospective new clients, evaluating new business opportunities and directing the preparation of proposals, including overall program design and establishing implementation budgets and projected energy savings. Additional responsibilities included assisting company owners with development of policies and procedures for the overall growth and management of the company.

Responsibilities included oversight of multiple utility sponsored energy efficiency programs in the Southeast, Midwest and Pacific Northwest, representing APT at national conferences and assisting with the design of new programs and preparation of proposals. Also responsible for developing retailer and manufacturer client relationships. Worked as part of a senior leadership team to manage external client expectations to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
