Frank Nardelli resides in Farmington Hills, Michigan with his wife and two daughters. Phi Delta Kappa has recognized him as a 2009-2010 Emerging Leader in Education. Originally from Plattsburgh, New York, Frank earned his Bachelor of Science in Education at the State University of New York College at Geneseo. Frank earned his Master of Arts in Literacy Education at University of Michigan. In 1997, Frank was part of the founding faculty for Dove Academy, a K-8 Public School Academy in Detroit, Michigan. Frank taught first grade and third grade before becoming the Assistant Principal at Dove. Frank served as the Assistant Principal for three years and then served as the Principal for 7 years. In February of 2009, Dove Academy became the first No Excuses University in Michigan. In August of 2011, Frank joined the staff of the Michigan Association of Public School Academies (MAPSA) as a Quality Schools Facilitator. In this position, Frank provided support for public charter schools, teachers and school leaders throughout the state of Michigan. From January of 2013 to June of 2017, Frank served as the Vice President of No Excuses University (NEU). During his work with NEU, Frank focused on the development of a national network of schools. Frank also provided professional development for educators and school administrators throughout the country at NEU Institutes. Frank is the author of three motivational children's books: "We Love the Dove," "After High School Comes College…" and "Stand Tall." In September of 2017, Frank joined the staff of the Society for College and University Planning as their Planning Institute Program Manager.
