Frank is a Helpmann award winning theatre director, senior cultural programmer and leader of education transformation programs. He is an accomplished facilitator with a specialty in creative practices currently working at the Sydney School of Entrepreneurship. Prior to that he was Creative Learning Specialist for the Sydney Opera House leading two programs: Creative Play and Creative Leadership In Learning. As an artistic director his performances have been presented in New Zealand, Ireland, Scotland, USA, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan and around Australia in festivals and major venues. He was the Artistic Director of Terrapin Puppet Theatre for six years where he explored digital puppetry and networked performances collaborating with First Nations artists, CSIRO, Children Art Theatre of China and the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.He writes curriculum and facilitates learning programs for universities and education institutions. He is a key note speaker appearing in three international conferences in New York, Edinburgh and Shanghai and on numerous Australian panels talking about arts learning and arts based facilitation. He has worked in under served communities bringing together unlikely partnerships in youth justice programs and led crime prevention projects in rural and urban Indigenous communities working with stakeholders across health, housing, education and police. Frank has explored technology in art, learning and activism. His career has been an investigation of how art, play and learning intersect social justice, corporate training, interactive technologies, education change programs and intercultural collaborations. Frank is five years into a practice based Doctorate at the Queensland University of Technology exploring site specific practices for facilitating creativity.
