-Manage a team of three logistic coordinators and facilitate the negotiations of $3M for 8,500 trucks for a year with contract drivers. -Control the inventory of trucks for a specific area in the country by making sure trucks are picked up and delivered on time. -Plan specific load routes that will help reduce the costs for contract drivers to deliver a truck. -Negotiate bids with customers with an expedited rate. -Work with customer care team on inventory management and demand planning based off customer requests specifically with packages of trucks that need to be done by a certain time frame. -Strategize cost reduction by improving operation process.-Work closely with network planners on future forecast and supply chain analysis for future production. -Communicate with recruiting regularly to analyze the need of drivers and retention -Help make sure contractors are staying compliant with DOT regulations
