An incredible place to work and learn. Started working there as an Americorp volunteer in 2002 working part-time as a tutor and support person in the mornings. In the summer of 2003, I became a full-time Americorp volunteer and lead teacher/support for students at Nativity Prep while pursuing a masters degree in leadership studies with a focus on education at the University of San Diego. In my time at Nativity, I had the opportunity to teach English, math, American history, science, serve as athletic director/coach numerous sports, and serve as the first assistant principal of the school. Under the leadership of our principal Brendan Sullivan, I was able to learn a tremendous amount and sharpen my skills as a school leader.
