As President of Mobius Consulting, Mr. Privitera alternates his time between acting as a business developer, chief technical officer, and business strategist. His vast experience developing creative technical approaches as well as establishing business relationships enables Mobius to capture new business.Externally, Mr. Privitera supports his high priority clients as a chief systems engineer, strategist, and program manager. He currently provides advisory and analytical services to the Missile Defense Agency. Over the last ten years, Mr. Privitera has fulfilled many roles, he is an expert in systems engineering and lifecycle management, and he enjoys independently coordinating technical efforts across geographically disbursed stakeholders. He is currently a member of the MDA Chief Architect’s Team, synthesizing the BMDS architecture with Advanced Concepts, Space-based capabilities, and Special Programs. In this role, he manages architecture definition, future visioning, and develops strategies to integrate advanced technologies.

- Provided technical program management of several initiatives contributing to the development of the BMDS Integrated Space Architecture- Tracked and managed issues, established tasks and prioritized work assignments for the contractor staff. - Coordinated the review and configuration control board approval of engineering documentation and briefings. - Developed architecture overview briefings for MDA senior leadership forums, including the Executive Management Board, Integration Synchronization Group, Program Change Board, Development/Technical Baseline Review and Systems Engineering and Integration Council.- Developed test planning products that engage internal and external mission stakeholders to plan, coordinate, design and execute experimentation. - Lead the development of multiple joint development efforts to author briefings and documentation. Including MDA’s participation in the US Strategic Command sponsored Integrated OPIR Missile Defense Test Integrated Process Team (IPT), AT&L sponsored Joint OPIR Ground (JOG) study and STSS Joint Test Working Group. - Routinely represented MDA to internal and external mission stakeholders such as the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, National Reconnaissance Office, Air Force Space Command, and Space and Missile Command, providing technical expertise and agency positions during cooperative engineering special studies on space architectures, ground processing architectures, national space policy, and space capability upgrades. - Co-led a team to evaluate a BMDS roadmap initiative on Global Engagement Management and Fire Control. - Led the development of an operational timeline analysis for the multiple fire control schemes. - Analyzed the applicability of emerging technologies and concepts by performing studies on new potential BMDS elements and components.- Authored capability needs documents and system specifications, capturing architectural requirements and performance expectations

Mr. Privitera was the lead engineer for several integrated flight test events as part of the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) system engineering group. He led teams to develop system solutions on technical and non-technical critical path issues, ranging from test schedules to component integration. He achieved balanced system solutions by analyzing model and simulation results, element capability requirements, and test requirements. He conducted analyses and developed alternate program execution plans when necessary to maintain test objectives, test schedule, knowledge points and milestones.Mr. Privitera produced the integration strategy and technical objective products for GMD systems engineering. These products were used as the master strategy for the program to coordinate task descriptions for developing hardware and software as well as flight and ground test configurations, experiment plans, and program risk assessments.
