My current role is as a Development Engineer responsible for the introduction of new semiconductor technologies. This involves new route audit, approval and continuous improvement through ECN implementation. I am the team lead for New Product Introduction
My role in IBM as a Development Engineer was to coordinate the introduction of new technologies, in 22 and 14 nm node. This involves all aspects of new product introduction, starting with route setup, review and audit, process qualification, and metrology verification. This is performed to assure that the design verification lots, see fully qualified processes for an on schedule delivery. I run a daily cross functional meeting with members of the Integration, patterning, and metrology and test where we track all qualification activities and lot movement.
As a Business Partnership Manager for NXP I was responsible for two primary focus areas: customer relations and fulfillment and new product introduction. Responsibilities such as, but not limited to; new product introduction, working with the process integration group to resolve logistical and technical issues with prototype products, problem solving, complaint handling and closure, customer satisfaction surveys and associated improvement action tracking, business review meetings, site visits and customer audits. The Business Partner Managers’ charter was to be the customer advocate within the FAB and act as knowledgeable interface between the FAB and its customers.
This entails directing and coordinating the equipment maintenance for the ASM steppers and scanner as well as SVG and TEL tracks.
I was selected to join this startup joint venture between IBM and Cirrus Logic Inc. I quickly established myself as a lead technician on what was a new toolset for me, and advanced to become the technical floor leader, with responsibilities that included coordination of all maintenance activities and the interviewing, hiring and training of equipment technicians.
