CurrentBecoming acquainted with NASA programs, missions, strategic goals, and mission directorates. Additionally, using that knowledge to determine where my growing skills would be applicable to a mission directorate of interest. For instance, the Space Operations Mission Directorate(SOMD) and its strategic goals that ensure a long lasting space economy and understanding how a space economy ensures a long term human presence in space or Low-Earth Orbit(LEO). Biomedical Technician(such as myself); or in this case, a Team Practioner could assist in the maintenance, design, and development of devices that promote and measure human health in space. Furthermore, thinking of different approaches to get involved in the space economy through the private sector via an understanding of regulations set by NASA and prior research conducted on the International Space Station(ISS).
