Conceived and stood up the BAE Systems Engineering Production Lab (EPL), which successfully performed on three NIMA Outsourcing contracts: Mozambique (initial Pilot-Production), Geospatial Information Demonstration (GID), and the Cuba Program (follow-on to pilot-production). Leveraged breadth of DMA/NIMA program experience to provide BAE SYSTEMS with a unique understanding of the NIMA environment. Directed BAE Systems Engineering Production Lab to significantly contribute to the win of the Australian ATSE PARARE mapping modernization program. Duties on this emerging business area spanned technical, management, and new business pursuits over a four-year period.Conceptualized and initiated development of the MC&G SOCET COTS software module. This adjunct applications product to SOCET SET permitted extension of the SOCET SET photogrammetric workstation to NIMA and commercial mapping projects. It is currently in use by a number of commercial firms, and was utilized as part of the NIMA Production Cell COTS tool suite.

Acted as Workstation Controller lead for DMA (now NGA) Digital Production System (DPS) Digital Extraction Segment DE/S, with direct technical management responsibilities for a team of 120 SW engineers.Responsible for the HE/S Control Segment migration to a modern UNIX architecture under the FPE program.Led the critical study and initialization period of migrating from VAX to Alpha architectures. Served as Deputy Software Manager during the startup phase. Responsible for staffing, planning, scheduling, and status reporting activities for a group of approximately 30 software engineers. Coordinated the efforts of 6 groups comprised of 60+ software engineers to perform detailed design, code, and test activities for the Workstation Controller CPCSI.Leveraged leadership and technical expertise to successfully design, code, test, and deliver, 60 Workstation Controller CPCs comprising over 400,000 lines of Ada code. Fill principal technical, management and customer interface role in the development and execution of the DPS DE/S site support plan. Led the Extraction CPCI and Workstation Controller CPCSI during the post v4.5 efforts.
