Created an operating platform for a 1.2 million square foot, 26 building portfolio from the ground up. Responsible for all aspects of the company’s operation, including sourcing new buildings or land to buy, entitling existing and new land, creating proformas for new buildings and land sites, construction and leasing of new and existing buildings, disposition of buildings, capital budgeting, and overseeing all property management activities.

Responsible for all property and project management activity for the Chicago portfolio which included over 11 million SF of industrial product. Grew KTR’s portfolio from 6 buildings in 2006 to over 70 in 2015. Handled all aspects of property management in the Chicago market including budgeting, due diligence on new acquisitions, capital budget programs, bidding portfolio level contracts to achieve maximum savings, and tenant and vendor relations. Successfully oversaw the property management team to ensure we were managing our property as first-class industrial buildings. Project management successes included all capital and tenant improvements for the market from simple make ready improvements for a new space to major redevelopment/repositioning of assets including new facades, re-purposing manufacturing space, to brand new ground up construction. Project management responsibilities included scope creation, budgeting, bidding, overseeing construction and closeout of the projects. Additional responsibilities included budgeting for all leasing RFPs, new acquisitions and redevelopment activities.
