APSIS is a recently formed Association of over 50 Trainers from the East Coast to BC who are committed to establishing a high standard for providing quality specialized training services. Members are focussed on providng moral, ethical and non-abusive training programs that include subject restraint, defensive options such as use of Expandable baton that are current, consistent and compliant with Federal and Provincial legislation as well as law enforcement agencies. APSIS's goal is to educate end-sure clients, participants and the general public to identify certified and qualified training providers that are committed to delivering "Court Defensible" programs that mitigate the risk of criminal and civil liability.
