    Halcyon Phase is a collaboration between veteran singer-songwriter Frank Smith (Sills & Smith) & legendary producer/recording engineer and multi-instrumentalist Phillip Victor Bova (Bova Sound). The debut Halcyon Phase album Tendrils was released on March 20, 2021. All songs were composed by Frank Smith (words, music) and Phillip Victor Bova (music), registered with SOCAN. The album is available on Bandcamp, Spotify, Amazon and Apple Music.Sills & Smith, led by Ottawa singer-songwriters Jeremy Sills and Frank Smith, has independently released six studio albums of music that blend and bend elements of folk, indie rock, progressive rock, with hints of blues and jazz. The brand new album Maps - Burned or Lost features 14 powerful, melodic original songs and nearly 70 minutes of music. It's the boldest Sills & Smith musical adventure to date.     Frank Smith is the National Coordinator of the National Educational Association of Disabled Students (NEADS), a position he has held since 1986 when the group was founded. NEADS is the only non-governmental organization of its type in Canada that represents post-secondary students and graduates with disabilities, with a mandate to support full access to college and university education nationally. Frank has worked with the NEADS team and partners in conducting and publishing groundbreaking research into access and accommodation issues as they apply in Canada’s colleges and universities. He has assisted in event planning for national conferences and regional forums across Canada that have dealt with a range of issues including, but not limited to: disabled student advocacy, the transition from school to work, financial aid/financial literacy. Frank, who holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Carleton University, curates content on the NEADS website: www.neads.ca and social media and collaborates with the NEADS Board of Directors across Canada. NEADS is a member group of the Council of Canadians With Disabilities.
