The CMO, CEO and Chief Actuary, worked with my team to successfully sell our first underwriting solution partnership,(Velogica). The process took 2 years, but the company experienced the most successful product launch ever. Initial product expectation was 15K policies annually, in the first year over 80K policies were written. Over $10 million of premium to Transamerica in the first year, still producing new business.• Managed and developed new product development partnerships. Sold vision of competitive and profitable term series to CEO, with Chief Actuary as anti-sponsor.• Successfully transitioned the smallest territory to the largest, while transitioning from term leaders as a primary market, to 2nd tier carriers with large, profitable shares of their business. Territory grew from $12 million of premium to $30 million in first 5 years, and it peaked at $60 million, before the financial crisis.• Successfully closed inforce block transactions that helped division meet stretched goals.
