Manages complex declassification, political review, and ultimate product production of an 800 page book through process that includes interagency, multiple combatant commands, and title X services. Responsible for budetary decisions and meeting budgetary constraints in severe fiscal times, responsible for hire/fire decisions, EEO, real property decisions, MILCON, SRM, collective bargaining agreement negotiations, labor/management relations, personnel actions, base security and safety of personnel, and contracting decisions for entire organization.Led direct subordinates who were responsible for directorates of public works, logistics, morale welfare and recreation, human resources, EEO, Emergency Services, Plans, Training, Mobilization, and Security, Internal Affairs and Compliance, Plans Analysis and Integration, Community (Social) Services, Safety Advisor, and Public Affairs.Sitting member on executive board of directors for 2,000 person installation.One of two senior leaders on installation who serve as "the face of the Army" for the only active Army base in New England to the public on outreach engagements, board of selectmen briefings, and media interaction- completing scores of internet, print, and television media interviews, as well as serving as base representative on regional community advisory board.Serves as defense representative for unified command during emergency management scenarios.
