Betfair floated on the London Stock Exchange valued at £1.4bn.My role expanded to incorporate the control of Global Commercial spend, across Business Partnering, Pricing and Analysis. I led a team which provided support, drove the budgeting and forecasting processes, delivered analytics and insights on business performance, and influenced key financial decisions.

I led the international budgeting process and supported the business by providing operational advice, strategic scenario planning, performance analysis, business case studies and presentations.

Reporting directly to the Unibet Group Head of Finance, I led a team of 15 staff responsible for the Group’s Treasury Management function (150+ Bank / PSP accounts in 25+ currencies).I designed an Automated Cash Reconciliation tool and developed effective payments strategies, procedures and controls to achieve a 75% reduction in turnaround time and a 100% reconciliation status on all cash holdings.
