Responsible for the development and successful delivery of the organizational objectives for the Engineering department which includes the Engineering, Reliability, and Aircraft Management functions of the Maintenance Organization. Ensure that the quality standards set forth in the GMM are met and that they are revised as necessary to ensure the highest level of safety and compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs). Ensure that the engineering department provides effective technical support for shops, line, and heavy maintenance. Develop and submit accurate divisional budgets and ensure the budget is maintained. Direct Frontier's Reliability Program to analyze trends, perform reliability analyses, and resolve problems. Foster positive communications and coordination with Line and Heavy maintenance, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Purchasing, Flight Dispatch, and Station Operations to ensure continuing safe aircraft for scheduled operations. Responsible for directing the Aircraft Management group, ensuring oversight of new aircraft acceptance and aircraft exit processes.

Coordinate Engineering activities with outstations and heavy maintenance facilities to provide timely response and repair information to ensure on time delivery. Lead department when Supervisor not available. Research and develop modifications and provide data for DER approval. Produce Engineering Orders to repair aircraft and assist all departments with troubleshooting of chronic aircraft issues. Develop company programs to ensure compliance to FAA specification. Increase mission effectiveness through well placed production processes. Provide documentation and tracking for AD and SB compliance.

Provide primary engineering support to all departments and timely technical dispositions with out of the box thought processes and procedures to meet deadlines. Skillfully navigate engineering databases, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings to develop repair information. Company representative for several Dornier and Bombardier steering committees.

Provide supervision and guidance to three levels of employee classification on maintenance, inspection, trouble shooting, repair system operation and overhaul of aircraft and related systems. Perform written and oral reports on assigned personnel. Participate in recruitment and hiring of all hangar staffing, to include school visits and career fair speaking. Maintain attention and dedication to support and report a monthly budget in excess of $218,000.00

Perform maintenance and in-flight support, to include electrical and instrument systems, aircraft systems, including hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, utilities, and power plants. Provide support for operations in flight for all missions; heavy lift cargo interior and exterior, single point fire fighting bucket, passenger and combat troop loading, in-flight refueling, aerial gunner.
