 Manage inbound transit, storage and outbound dispatches of pharmaceutical products including cold chain and controlled drugs within the UK by adhering to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements and by maintaining standards of health /safety, hygiene and security. Validate temperature loggers, in the ambient and cold chain areas. Respond effectively and timely to all customer enquiries by liaising with clients, suppliers and transport companies Ensure medicines are available to meet the customer requirements whilst maintaining internal idle time less than budgeted levels by producing reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc) Raise PO /Sales Orders for processing Customer Orders, invoice and follow up on payment/ bounced Direct debits. Liaise with all departments to improve total supply chain performance and monitor the quality of services provided

◼ Manage inbound transit, storage and outbound despatches of pharmaceutical products including cold chain and controlled drugs within the UK and EU.◼ Design tailored health and safety measures including the use of heavy machinery for manipulation and positioning of pallets, Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and train all members of staff to adhere to set procedures ensuring health & safety regulations are met.◼ Build custom MS Excel based inventory management system using VBA software development language to optimize use of storage area, efficient movement and secure storage of medicines.◼ Validate temperature loggers, in the ambient and cold chain areas, 2D barcode scanners and security cameras on a regular basis in line with the Standard Operating Procedures.◼ Lead a team of 9 members of staff across 2 sites motivating them to exceed KPIs designed to meet quarterly Quality and Performance targets.◼ Participate on the IT front in various projects such as the implementation of falsified medicines directive, ERP migration to Dynamics 365 and other adhoc automations to improve efficiencies across the board.◼ Use of historic data with seasonal trends to project and plan for resources including staffing and packaging materials.◼ Continue enquiring on the lookout for new and innovative logistic companies for competitive quotes ensuring quality of transport under GDP guidelines are met.◼ Ensure picking and packing of medicines were accurate and returns kept at minimal meeting set targets.◼ In the event of a reported incident, ensure corrective actions preventive action (CAPA) suggested by Quality Assurance team are implement effectively.◼ Record maintenance of shipping documentation, proofs of temperature records during transit and delivery.◼ Take part in recruitment and shortlisting of candidates to manage seasonal demands.
