Trust & Safety Managers are part of the Leadership Team within the Trust & Safety Team and work hand-in-hand with the Head of Trust & Safety, Leads, Team Leaders, and specialists to create the safest experience for our users. Though part of the Trust & Safety Team, Managers must also collaborate efficiently & proactively with other Yubo Departments and Leadership to improve our overall company operations.Key Responsibilities: - Manage, coach, and lead a team of Trust and Safety Team Leaders who oversee a group of Safety Specialists - Ensure high performance in their workforce management and good functioning of resource allocation- Set up and develop operational processes to ensure the efficiency of moderation and safety processes in the Trust & Safety department - Identify, collaborate, and assist in the creation and revision of the Trust and Safety policy - Analyze and communicate insights around Trust and Safety operations, user safety trends, and community markets- Report and provide solutions on critical issues related to operation and product workflow - Collaborate with relevant stakeholders of the organization to support Trust and Safety initiatives. This includes but is not limited to Community, Support, Data Science, Product, Legal, and HR- Develop safety tools to support detection and improve operations- Analyze and interpret data to support operational/product decisions/initiatives- Develop a deep understanding of Yubo’s challenges, vision, and goals and how Trust and Safety impacts the companies ecosystem

My job is to make sure that our platform is the safest place possible for our millions of active users. In order to do so, I provide support and coaching to our amazing Safety Specialists so they can perform at their best.Admin/Management tasks- Monitor and report on eventual volume spike, and assign tasks to the team according to priorities on a daily basis and report to Leadership accordingly- Monitor individual and team productivity based on moderation target and report to Leadership accordingly- Assist with Specialists schedule assignment- Report to the Leadership team on overall team performance- Supervise overall operations of specialists with performance plans and training needs based on specialists' observations.- Lead weekly meeting to share overall team updates and involve QA specialists and Investigators to communicate weekly observations/projects- Conduct regular 1-1 with the team- Report on operations updates to Leadership on a weekly basisProcesses & Collaboration- Identify and establish processes needed to improve overall team efficiency and collaborate with other leaders to implement- Work closely with other teams to gain knowledge shared among all specialists- Communicate and work closely with Leadership on specific projects- Oversee and assist with the escalations processTraining- Update training materials and communicate changes to my team- Regularly assess new policy needs and share with leadership- Regularly attend management/performance training and put into practiceTeam engagement & development- Oversee new member’s onboarding and training plan- Actively work in the feedback board to prioritize ideas and stay on top of team interests- Assist Leadership with team events- Regularly engage in team channels for team bonding purposes- Own the hiring leader role through the recruitment, interview, and onboarding process- Set up development plans and recommend promotions to Leadership
