After graduating with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University, I worked in various clinical setting with an emphasis on treating and caring for patients with neurological and vestibular related deficits. My desire for treating vestibular conditions heightened with the opportunity to attend the Emory based, Vestibular Rehabilitation: A Competency Based Course in 2017.I have been fortunate to work in many settings, which includes outpatient, acute care, acute rehabilitation and Neuro ICU. I had the immense pleasure of conducting and writing research during my clinical career, as well as running the Neuro Study Group and participating in Journal Clubs. After managing a team on an acute rehabilitation floor, I made the transition into the non-clinical world. I now work as a Clinical Development Success Manager at MindMaze, a Neurotechnology rehabilitation company. This non-clinical role allows me to participate in research, creation of educational materials, device training for clinicians and much more. This opportunity has allowed me expand my understanding of the complex medical system beyond the clinical setting.
