Wastewater Treatment Plant, Richmond, CA April 2021 – PresentRESPONSIBILITIES:• General duties included demo, clean up, caring for, and securing equipment and materials• General prep for next day's business• Installing and maintaining stormwater pollution and prevention plan• General prep for next day's business• Installing and maintaining stormwater pollution and prevention plan• Works with various hand tools such as electric chipping gun, rivet buster, 60# jackhammer, jumping jacks, turtles for compaction, and cutting torch• Oversee all job equipment to ensure all equipment is properly taken care of, in good running order, and protected• Interrupt Jobsite schematics to determine procedures and assign each Laborer daily tasks• Initiate, coordinate, and supervise Laborers to ensure tasks are completed correctly while ensuring company policies and safety procedures are being followed• Work with power and non-power hand tools, jackhammers, pumps, vibrators, drills, and 305 excavators chipping concrete• Accurately and effectively complete daily JHA (Job Hazard Analysis) electronically (iPad)• Provide Superintends with estimated worker-hour requirements for job completion• Monitor progress of crew to insure satisfactory job completion, keeping construction progress in line with overall project schedule, while following all company safety guidelines• Manage field operations with a focus on safety, compliance, efficiency, cost management, and innovation• Recognize special skill set/talent as well as a need for training and development of crew members, and report back to Superintendent and Safety Director accordingly• Signal Crane Operators while hoisting materials and equipment• Extensive excavation and pours, vibrates, and cures concrete• Demo uncharted, abandoned water lines, sludge drains and storm drains• Manages time records with accuracy daily• Works after-hours and weekends as projects required
