In charge of the finance aspect for business development including new product, new customer, new project and new footprint in Asia Pacific region.

• Lead the product line globally which consists of 4 manufacturing plants and 3 technical centers in Europe, Asia and North America with annual sales revenue of US$350 Million.• Ensure that appropriate US GAAP accounting and controls are in place within the organizations and that the results of these operations are fully understood.• Lead the preparation of the product line's budget and business plan globally. Report to management on variances from the established budget and the reasons for those variances.• Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction. And give direction to the local manufacturing and technical sites for their financial performance targets.• Lead the monthly forecasting process with all sites and all functions in the product line. Prepare analysis and understand the variances between current actual and prior forecast. • Lead ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the product line. Give advice to management on where to save costs and give directions to each site and function for cost saving tasks.• Regularly and timely review the performance of each site and report on key issues to management and advise on solutions.• Interpret the product line's financial results to management and recommend improvement initiatives.• Compile key business metrics and report on them to management.• Participate in business development activities and determination of product pricing to win new business which meet predetermined financial goals.• Manage the capital budgeting process, based on constraint analysis and discounted cash flow analysis.• Lead the Pastdue Accounts Receivables review and follow up with the local site Finance team and central Sales team to ensure the pastdue receivables are well understood and actions are timely taken.• Develop the skills of the product line finance team, including accounting and reporting, consolidation, commercial and operations.

• Monitor and analyze the cash flow movement in the region and Diesel worldwide including 13 week cash flow rolling forecast (Forecast and Budget).• Provide the balance sheet and operating cash flow forecast tool to the plants and help the plants to improve the forecast accuracy.• Coordinate the balance sheet forecast to the headquarters (Monthly Forecast and Budget).• Coach the sites on how to use the reporting tools and ensure good communications with Powertrain sites.• Ensure accuracy for the actual and forecast capital expenditures by project within the Diesel PBU.• Coordinate the capital spending management activities for Diesel worldwide and Powertrain Europe.• Coordinate the Powertrain Europe warranty reporting process.• Coordinate and monitor compliance of accounting policy and procedures related to capital spending.

• Run business cases for Diesel Electronics product line.• Submit customer quote business cases to Delphi Pricing Reviewing Group (DPRG) and support in the DPRG review and approval process.• Support in project gate review. Provide my opinion and vote in gate reviews. Raise alarm if there is any deterioration in project financial during gate reviews. Analyze the reason of deterioration and provide solution in financial point of view.• Prepare the Funds Appropriation Requests for Diesel Electronics product line.• Prepare the monthly capital spending actual and forecast report for Diesel Electronics.• Support the PBU Finance Director and product line general manager in ad hoc reports.

• Responsible for consolidation of global budget and business plan.• Consolidate and analyze the financial results of 10 countries in this PBU.• Develop financial models to analyze the global financial performance.• Responsible for the global monthly closing and reporting as well as the quarterly forecast.• Prepare monthly finance review presentation.• Analyze and control the UK site Material Purchase Price Variance.• Consolidate and analyze the quarterly FX exposure forecast and FX hedging passback.• Responsible for monthly balance sheet analysis and quarterly cash flow forecast.• Prepare monthly and weekly AR aging reports and presentation.• Control allied imbalance as of month end.• Assist finance director in ad hoc reports.

• Responsible for plant costing.• Develop plant standard costing process and standard cost rates which include material, labor and burden.• Assist plant finance controller in management reporting.

• Forecast the cost of running technical centers in AP region.• Analyze the variance between the actual result and the forecast/budget number.• Take actions to control the costs of the technical centers in AP region.• Prepare 2006 & 2007 engineering budget for all the Energy & Chassis technical centers in AP region.• Capital spending management.• Prepare the 2006 capital spending budget for Delphi Asia Pacific.• Assist Asia Pacific finance director in reviewing, approving, evaluating the business cases prepared by all the plants in AP region.

• Run business cases for new projects/new products/new customers.• Do sensitivity analyses for the profitability and discounted cash flow for the new & existing business.• Assist the management to recover the loss-making projects.• Carry out the investment performance evaluation for project controlling purpose.• Training new analysts and help them to understand the process and techniques to run business cases.• Cooperate with the Engineering, the Purchasing, the Logistics and the Sales departments initiatively to get the accurate information as quickly as possible.• Follow the company’s policies and regulations of business development and document assumptions.• Provide the Quotation Breakdown as per the requirement of customers.• Provide financial information to the management for Capital Appropriation Requests.• Coordinate to get the internal transfer pricing approval.• Track business case status systematically.

• Audit supplier’s invoices, contract and goods received notes. If any problem, contact relevant person in the company or directly contact supplier.• Input all the invoices into accounting system and create new AP vouchers.• Follow the government policy on foreign exchange when paying to overseas suppliers.• Calculate material cost variance at each month end.• Assist in setting up the ERP system in the company.• Input customers’ payment into accounting system. Apply each payment to relevant invoices.• Prepare AR aging report monthly and work with Sales team to chase payment if there is pastdue invoices.• Send account statements to customers and reconcile with customers if any difference arises.• Assist the finance manager in preparing cash flow forecast for each month.
