Retired NYPD Detective Sergeant 22 years law enforcement experience, 15 of those years as Commanding Officer the Brooklyn South Homicide Task Force, Brooklyn South Detective Gang Squad and various other investigative assignments within the Detective Bureau. I have supervised many complex Homicide cases and brought them to a successful conclusion. I have also brought the first NY State (R.I.C.O.) case against the Bloods Gang and helped to prosecute 25 members of that gang of crimes including Homicide, Robbery and gang assault. During my time on the NYPD I have been awarded two Chief of Detective Awards , two Commendations among other awards and am a member of the NYPD Honor Legion.
