Worked for Walmart/Sams Club for the better part of 20 years. Working my way up through the ranks and becoming a store manager in mulitiple locations. As a manager with Walmart I worked in locations ranging in volume from $55 million to $157 million. Most current location did $75 million.Lead a team of associates in stores from 175 associates to 600 plus associates. I enjoyed teaching, training, communicating and working with our associates and help them in their own personel development.Worked with associates and fellow management partners in developing merchanidising displays, reading reports such as profit and loss statements while analyzing them, safety information and working to help improve safety, developing and implementing plans on shrink reduction. Working to stay within compliance in all aspects of the business and staying in compliance with all state and federal laws and requirements.Rolled out new programs and taught our associates the benefits of them and how new programs will help with customer service and help our overall performance in the stores.I've gone through some great training and development courses and meetings with Walmart that have not only helped me grow as an individual but taught me how to help better improve customer service, reaching sales goals, maximizing profit goals while lowering shrink, raising morale in the operating unit.I'm looking for an opportunity to grow and excel in another company.
