As a member of the executive leadership team, I played a crucial role in establishing and expanding a groundbreaking company in the carbon capture and storage (CCS) sector, transitioning from my previous role directing an oil exploration and production company. Moreover, I manage the finance and accounting functions, oversee major business priorities, and drive growth through CCS research and financial modelling. I work closely with Verde’s executive team to secure contracts and sequestration leases from key partners.Among my notable achievements, I:- Collaborated with Verde’s executive team to identify and develop key CCS market ventures, ensuring future profitability and financial viability.- Helped secured a $250M capital commitment, leading to the advancement of two successful CCS projects in Texas and Louisiana, including the acquisition and establishment of major CO2 injection leases.

As a founding partner of Throne II, I led the financial efforts of company's entry into unconventional oil and gas exploration. Working closely with the executive team, I helped conduct a thorough assessment of the Permian Basin to identify high-revenue potential assets. Furthermore, I leveraged my network and business expertise to help Throne break into the market and secure over $80M in equity capital. With this funding, Throne acquired oil and gas leases, producing properties, and established well drilling and extraction operations.Among my notable achievements, I:- Managed the financial acquisition of 200 wells in the Permian Basin, using advanced technology to assess risk and diversify extraction sites, reducing production risks.- Streamlined operations by integrating new oil and gas accounting software, leading to cost savings by eliminating the need for external resources.- Negotiated vendor rate reductions by nearly 50% in 2020.- Supported team development by facilitating participation in COPAS events, enhancing collaboration, skills, and growth.

With three partners, I founded and led Shoreline Energy, where we secured an initial capital investment of $20M. I oversaw the acquisition of 10 producing properties for well development and drilling, expanded capital, and grew initial equity to $50M. Under my leadership, the company became one of South Louisiana's largest oil and gas producers, reaching production levels of up to 5,000 barrels of oil equivalent (BOE) per day.Among my notable achievements, I:- Led acquisitions across South Louisiana, driving significant growth in production and reserves.

I co-founded the company with an initial investment of $30M, driving expansion to over 24 fields through key acquisitions.I helped drive efforts to achieve a production rate of 10,000 BOEPD and grew PV10 proved reserves to $400M. Additionally, I managed all financial functions, including facilitating capital raising and strategic financial planning.Among my notable achievements, I:- Helped boost equity development from $30M to $220M and was instrumental in Marlin’s sale to Energy XXI for $421M, achieving a 3.5x MOIC and over 70% IRR.-Collaborated with banks to implement a 3-year hedging strategy, reducing production and financial risks, and regularly advised the board on investment strategies to enhance revenue and lower costs.

Since 1992, I advanced through several financial roles within the company, managing key functions including financial analysis, modeling, and quarterly/annual reporting. I played a significant role in establishing, expanding, and steering the company through its IPO process and successful mergers until its sale in 2003.
