My role was dealing with the Warehousing/Distribution of the company's products, ensure they arrived at the external customers on time and in full. With staff of 4 Team Leaders and 30 operatives it was a hands on role which I enjoyed. Our largest customer was M&S as well as Tesco, Sainsbury, Asda, Morrisons, and many more independent customers throughout the UK.

I manage and oversee the day to day activities for the logistics department, consisting of 6 First Line Managers,6 Team Leaders,7 administration clerks, and 72 Class1&2 drivers. My main responsibilities in this role were to ensure that the day to day operation ran smoothly and efficiently at both Dundee and Ayr. Key accountabilities include an annual RSV turnover of approximately £55m serving 440 customers daily and to control and monitor a budget of £2.4m and report on variances. To ensure British Bakeries customers received their orders within the allocated window times and their orders were complete.
