I performed a combination of duties, such as: operated independently and without direct supervision as the technologist responsible for the performance and coordination of all diagnostic radiology examinations. My primary duties and responsibilities included but are not limited to: prepared contrast materials under the direction of the Radiologist for the purpose of performing exams requiring injectable solutions such as cystograms, cholangiograms, and for the purpose of performing oral and rectal exams of the GI tract. Maintains control of Radiology area by coordinating, planning, organizing and executing the work potential to expedite work flow patterns within the departments. I maintained a daily log of patients and procedures to be incorporated into statistical management workload profiles.I selected and prepared proper imaging cameras, computers and auxiliary equipment to perform procedures. I was responsible for stocking and inventory of all supplies.I maintained equipment used in diagnostic radiological procedures and made minor repairs and/or adjustments. I performed all processing of digital images and insured images are transmitted to PACS.Performed diagnostic imaging service for a diverse population of patients in a rural medical center including general radiography in the Emergency Room and the Operating Room. Worked independently, assisting E.R. nursing staff with various duties.
