Also management of Procurement of key parts for Development builds, product cost, assurance of supply, Legal NDA/Documents, Supplier relationships, Technology bench marking and capacity needs. Direct interfacing and involvement with our EMS partner to manage day-day activities.

Also management of product cost, assurance of supply, Legal NDA/Documents, Supplier relationships, Technology bench marking and capacity needs. Direct interfacing and involvement with our EMS partner to manage day-day activities. Saved Savant Systems >3% in Materials and Overhead costs on +12 end products and also involved a transfer to another manufacturing locale (New Hampshire to Tijuana).

Group Director responsible for all key Semiconductor and Display commodities for Tablet products: Displays and Touch Panels, CPU/Radio, Memory, Wireless, Sensors, Power Management and Standard IC’s. Responsible for cost management, sourcing, supplier relationships, source selection, supply assurance, contracts negotiation, capacity requirements, technology road maps and bench marking. Had managed staff of two Sourcing Managers.
