Prior to establishing Zappala Consulting Network, Frank served as Director of Business Development for The BIA Financial Network and SpectraRep. In those positions, with the assistance of analysts and other professionals, he worked with media and technology companies developing engagements that established value, provided strategic advice, and provided investment banking. Frank was involved in the development of SpectraRep, a new practice group at BIA. Frank was engaged with broadcasters creating plans that would lead to revenue from providing ancillary services with their digital broadcast signals. Frank developed awareness of these services by working directly with potential customers creating processes and implementation strategies furthering the development of new revenue for digital TV broadcasters.Frank earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland in Speech and Communications, Radio and Television Broadcasting, with minors in Psychology, Math, and Sciences. Frank also completed a certificate course at the Sterling Institute in Managing for Performance, and a course of study with The Rancho Strossi Institute, and Dr. Richard Heckler, in effective leadership and personal interactions.
