In this role, I focused on staff recruitment, training, and records management, collaborating closely with the Staff and Crew Teams. With a proactive and empathetic approach, I facilitated recruitment processes, developed training strategies, and ensured the maintenance of confidential staff records.

This role was setup as the University's response to a growing number of enquiries from students affected by COVID19. As a Peer Support Advisor, our role is to:• Provide peer-to-peer advice to undergraduate and postgraduate students• Deliver personalised support for orientation and transition activities, and appropriate referral to other teaching and research support and academic enrichment services• Provide support and guidance following University policy and procedures, ensuring consistent and high-quality client-focused services for students• First point of contact for impacted students to assist in the provision of tier 1 enquiries

Student Ambassadors assist Student Recruitment in the University's marketing and promotional activities, including campus tours, school visits, careers markets and assisting at major recruitment events. The main function of Student Ambassadors is to provide prospective students with a current student's perspective of university life.Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:- Assisting the Student Recruitment and Admissions Group in providing information to prospective students- Giving presentations in high schools- Conducting University campus tours- Attending careers markets, tertiary information sessions- Assisting at major University events, including Open Day and Info Day- Advising on the University Helpline

The Academic Board is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the highest standards in learning, teaching and research. It does this by providing an environment for the academic community, including representatives from faculties, boards of studies and similar organisations, the opportunity to communicate with one another on both a formal and informal level.
