Franka Eline Smit is a Project Director and Program Manager and Data Analyst - Utah Center for Rural Health at Southern Utah University. They is proficient in French and German. Colleagues describe them as "After Franka finished her internship we, as the team of AFS Nederland, were amazed about the amount of worked she had done and how precise she works. When my new director asked me if I knew anyone to help us out temporary, I did not have to think twice. Franka became quickly part of the team and was not hesitant to come with ideas or suggestions for improvements. Franka came back as a full-fledged employee of the company with some tasks she was experienced with (she has done this during her internship) and a completely new task the transition of the website. In 2017 AFS changed to a WordPress site. and Franka handled all the filling of the content (text and image) and maintained contact with different parties to have the new website launched 1 May 2017 and this was a tight deadline. Next to the big project of the website, Franka was handling the social media (Instagram, Facebook). She was able to see news and make newsfeeds with different ideas and different angels. She is creative in doing so. Franka is a very reliable person with organisational skills, she has the ability to make an overview of tasks and time. She can handle time and work pressure and is capable of making realistic planning in order to do and finish her work in time."
